Stylists

Position is:                  Primarily full-time.  Tuesday - Friday and Saturday.  We will be opening on Mondays this Spring.

Primary Objective:    Provide exceptional services within the Aveda Environmental Lifestyle Store, Salon, and Spa, while exceeding the guest expectations.

Responsibilities:      

 Educate guests on services to increase service sales

 Exceed guest expectations

 To maximize books for each service technician

 Close sales and encourage guest to pre-book services

 Cross-service selling

 Implement Aveda experiences

 Support retail and service staff with retail productivity

 Create and maintain customer base

Description of Duties

 Provides professional, quality hair style and chemical services for all guests.

 Willing to perform all treatments listed on the Salon Menu and is committed to learning how to perform each treatment consistently.

 Believes self-care is an essential part of the guest experience and commits to educating guests on the importance of self-care at home.

 Incorporates retail sales into treatments.

 Commits to the salon rituals in each treatment (Sensory Journey, Opening/Closing Rituals, Aromatic Steam Towel, Scalp and Foot Rituals, and Finishing Touch, Hand Massage, & Stress Relieving Ritual (massage chair)).  This is our biggest point of difference.  These put Wabi Sabi and Aveda in a category no other Salon in Navarre can compete with. 

 Maintains extensive knowledge of Aveda products, as well as all hair styling and color services.

 Participates in salon team meetings and cross-training opportunities.

 Participates in Aveda Advanced Trainings and shows and implement practices that are taught.  

 Utilize slow times to incorporate self-study, Aveda approved education, and/or practice of spa rituals.  Offer spa rituals complementary to retail and/or salon customers.

 Other duties as assigned and/or required.

  

Responsibility

         Provide the appropriate amount of services per day.

         Requisition supplies through team leader for spa manager approval.

        Assist owners in setting benchmarks for services and retail sales.
